So we're back in Australia and slowly becoming used to cooler weather. A difference of 30 degrees takes some adjusting to! Abu Dhabi seems a long time ago, and we've only been here a week or so. Amelia is happy though, being the proud owner of her first pair of purple gumboots, which she calls "mud boots". She's playing in Nanna's birdbath and loving being outside. It's a huge lifestyle change and one she's relishing.
We're done initial reccie work at Bunnings, Rays and Anaconda to find out prices for all the gear we could potentially use and need. It could be an expensive adventure this one.
Chris is playing around with his new camper trailor, a Jurgens Stargazer. It's pretty flash, with hot water, stove and a bathroom tent. Pictures will come when we work out where all the leads are for our electrical stuff. Hopefully they're not in the container on it's way to Melbourne- that could take a while. He spent 3+ hours setting it up and is now taking it down again, having assured himself of it's weatherproofness. It had to come down today, quickly while the sun was out and the canvas somewhat dryish!
These shots show what it looks like with all the canvas out. Kitchen and annex on the right, and bathroom tent off to the lefthand side.
Fun and games... Here's hoping our new home's easier (and quicker) to build up next time!

You can see why it took awhile to set up first time around- there are so many canvas bits that all look the same.
A view from the rear with the kitchen/dining tent set up- windows down.
You can sort of see the kitchen through the doorway. Table is set up inside also.
